Our Mission

Our mission is to reach out to the Baka (Pygmy) Tribe in Cameroon, Africa through holistic ministry to take care of the total man. By providing quality education, teaching this tribe community farming and reaching out to them with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Mission School of Hope in the Eastern Region of Cameroon was created to provide education to the less privileged Baka children. We started with 15pupils and today, we have 250pupils to whom we provide education, healthcare, clothing and feeding.

How Can I Help?

HOW DO I SPONSOR A CHILD?
*Our hope is that you and your church group can help us by sponsoring a pupil (child) every month at $20 (U.S.) or $240 for a year. That money will enable us to clothe and feed the children while they attend school. We also will purchase supplies and provide needed medicines with the monthly gifts you provide. We currently have 130 pupils registered to begin classes in fall of 2006. Each and every sponsor is needed so we can continue feeding each child who attends classes. Some of the children will walk over five miles each way to school. Without a noon meal these students will put in a very long day of walking and studies.
*As of late August 2006 we have approximately 15 monthly sponsors. We are in great need of enough sponsors to at least feed the children one meal a day.
*Upon sponsoring a child you will receive information regarding our ministry and a picture of your child. Your monthly gifts make a tremendous difference in the lives of the Baka children of Cameroon.
Thank you for your partnership in this valuable work.

HOW DO I SPONSOR A TEACHER?
*You can also help us by sponsoring our teachers at $15 (U.S.) a month or $180 a year. This money will be used to pay salaries for our teachers and missionaries, including the coordinator. It takes five sponsors to sponsor one teacher. Without the resources to pay our teaching staff, the Mission School of Hope will not be able to continue this God-centered education for the Baka children.
*Upon sponsoring a teacher you will receive information regarding our ministry and a picture of the teacher you are supporting.
